Section One. Preface

1. This act shall be briefly titled the Tariff Resilience Act of 2026.
2. This act shall be effective immediately upon passage, except for provisions where effect is explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Should any portion of this act be found to be unconstitutional or otherwise illegal, only that portion of the act shall be struck out, and the rest shall remain in effect.

Section Two. Findings

1. All the findings of the Arcadian Vegetables Tariff Act of 2025 are still true.
2. Arcadia has threatened to counter our tariffs.
3. This is unacceptable.

Section Three. Reciprocal tariffs

1. Any and all tariffs issued by the Arcadian Vegetables Tariff Act of 2025 shall remain intact
2. Any state issuing tariffs against the Grand Commonwealth of Latomé pertaining to vegetables shall have reciprocal tariffs levied against with double the value of the tariffs issued.
3. The Governor of the Grand Commonwealth of Latomé shall be enabled to issue reciprocal tariffs against states issuing tariffs against the Grand Commonwealth, with such reciprocal tariff being focused only on the same industry on which the original tariffs were issued.
4. The Governor may not cancel any tariffs levied by an act passed by the Grand Peer.
