ARTICLE I

THE PREAMBLE

Just as the gears of a mighty engine interlock and turn, driving forward with relentless precision, so too do we bind ourselves together in the pursuit of collective prosperity. The flames of our determination burn brightly, fueling our ambitions and lighting the path toward a brighter tomorrow.

We, the people of the Free State of Fortitude, united in our commitment to the pursuit of a brighter tomorrow, recognizing our unique role within the great nation of Krameria, and acknowledging the legacy of our forebears, do hereby establish this Constitution to ensure a harmonious and prosperous society. In recognition of the interdependent roles we play—each gear essential to the motion, each flame critical to the warmth.

To ensure that every cog, no matter its size, is maintained and valued; that every spark, no matter how small, is kindled and cherished. Guided by principles of democracy, respect for human dignity, and the rule of law, we pledge to promote the common good, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, and foster a society where every citizen may thrive.

ARTICLE II - THE LEGISLATIVE

  1. The Free Assembly shall be vested with the legislative power of the Free State of Fortitude
  2. The Free Assembly shall be directly democratic in nature, and any lawful citizen of the Free State of Fortitude may choose to join the Assembly, in accordance with the provisions in this constitution. All members of the Free Assembly ought to retain one vote for parliamentary decisions.
  3. The Assembly will be presided over by the Speaker. They will ensure the orderly conduct of business, and represent the Assembly in its official capacities. They shall be elected after each Governoral election by the assembly itself.
  4. Each member of the Assembly will have one vote. All decisions will be made by a single majority vote of the members present.
  5. A bill will become law upon receiving a simple majority vote in the Assembly and the assent of the Governor.
